Recently on Tuesday and Thursday the 5/6 soccer program has been a success. On every Tuesday and Thursday 2 soccer games are being played and at the end of the term there will be a sausage sizzle!!!!

On Thursday the 28th August, FNPS will be running a lapathon for all students. Students can seek sponsorship from their families and friends and then will walk or run as many laps of the oval (or hall if depending on weather) as they can. Healthy snacks will be providing on the lapathon. The class that raises the most money will win a CLASS PIZZA PARTY. *only one class will be able to win this opportunity
Please remember to get some sponsorship. There is no maximum price for each lap and you can sponsor how much you want PER LAP. (One lap)

Last week grade sixes started their transition program on Friday, the transition program consists of scrapbooking, teddy bear making and practicing the graduation ceremony.
Every fortnight the grade sixes will go to the art room –which has been kindly donated by Mrs Chiprian – at the third session.
Writer’s festival
Writer’s festival
On the 28th of August there will be a writer’s festival only 30 people can make it in. In the 5/6s there was a writing completion to see who will make it in and vise versa in the 3/4s. 15 will make it from 5/6H, 5/6G and 5/6D. The 30 people will go to the festival and listen to bunch of famous writers speak and present some of his or her writing. Hope you make it in.
Athletics Day
Next week on Thursday we will be having our annual Athletics day run by Sharon smith .The 3/4s and the 5/6s will be participating. All of the 5/6s have been practising these events shot put, high jump, long jump and discuss. Good luck to all the 5/6s .

Concert Almost here
As you should know the concert is right around the corner. This year every class is practicing for the concert. The theme of the concert is number 1 hits. The concert is on the 17th September at 7pm.
The winner of Refugee week
Recently our whole school has been doing the Refugee week were all the students present there wonderful art with him/her and the refugee. Last week the winner was announced Juan Curtis he came in the top 12 group in all of Australia. He was given a prize to continue his amazing art journey. Juan (the amazing artist) we hope to see more of your art.

Maths Night
on the 22nd of May we had a great time at F.N.P.S maths night . (In the Ber Building ) We would love to thank all of the students and parents who came and participated in the maths games and activities . We would also like to thank the student leadership team and some volunteers that helped make the games.There were also some fun chance and guessing games and here are the people who won !

Maths Night
The school planned a maths night for students and parents after school.
From 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Wednesday 24th.(next Wednesday ) We will be having maths games that includes strategy and games that we have been playing through math sessions, here are a few of the games ; greedy pig , and target .The maths session will be located in the Ber building we ,look forward to seeing some parents and students here .Thank you
